Don McDonnell to Moderate Utility Smart Grid Panel at Georgia Power

ATLANTA, (March 28, 2011)—The McDonnell Group’s managing director, Don McDonnell, will moderate a panel hosted by the of the Technology Association of Georgia’s (TAG) Smart Grid Society, called “Challenges of the Smart Grid—The Utility Perspective.”  This panel discussion will be held at the Georgia Power Headquarters in the Arkwright Auditorium on April 8, 2011 from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM. The panel will discuss the implementation and deployment of the Smart Grid in Georgia, covering issues such as strategies for hardware deployment, grid data management and electric vehicle and renewable integration.  Panelists will include executives from investor owned, municipal and cooperative utilities including:
