One of Tennessee’s largest cooperatives unlocks the value of data to drive business decisions for 70,000 members

ATLANTA – (March 11, 2017) – Duck River Electric Membership Corporation, an electric cooperative serving more than 70,000 members throughout Tennessee, has seen improved reporting and access to data for key business decisions since its February 2016 implementation of IQ Analytics from SEDC.

 

Duck River, which ranks among the top five percent of the largest co-ops in the nation, provides electricity to five counties in central Tennessee. Duck River IT Analyst Annie Clements said the co-op’s main goal is to become the nation’s top ranked electric co-op for customer service.

North Georgia Co-op to apply geographic analytics to improve services to members

ATLANTA - (March 14, 2017) – Habersham Electric Membership Corporation, an electric power distribution cooperative serving more than 34,000 members around Clarksville, Georgia, has selected core Esri ArcGIS-based mapping and analytics software FuturaGISfrom Futura Systems.

“With members across six counties in Northeast Georgia, we saw it as a priority to add tools that can improve responsiveness and meet customer needs where they live and work,” said Russell Bentley, GIS coordinator for Habersham EMC. “We selected Futura Systems’ GIS for its seamless integration with our customer billing (BIS) and account software (CIS) from parent company SEDC.”
